Bible Study
Monday Morning Bible Study
All are invited to the weekly, early morning Bible study. This group meets at the church on
Monday mornings beginning at 7:00 a.m. and discusses the readings for the upcoming weekend.
Tuesday Evening Bible Study
All are invited to this once-a-month Bible study. This group meets on
the third Tuesday evening of each month at 6:30 p.m. The group is currently studying
the Gospel of Luke.
Thursday Women's Bible Study
All women are invited to this once-a-month Bible study, which is taken from the Lutheran Women
Today magazine. The group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
Bible Reading Challenge
Have you ever considered reading the entire Bible? If so, you may have had questions about how
to begin. Perhaps you have attempted such an endeavor and got bogged down in the genealogy of
the Old Testament. Maybe you just didn't have someone to keep you accountable. If so, you are
not alone.
As I considered how to read the Bible, I asked Pastor Brenda for recommendations. Through
our discussions, Pastor provided a reading order for the books of the Bible and we challenged
each other to not only read, but hold each other accountable for reading. We developed a schedule
for our reading and agreed to have some informal discussion periodically.
