Cedar Hills Meals

The Cedar Hills Neighborhood Association will be having meals for the youth around this area again this summer. The meals are at St Mark’s Methodist Church. As in the past, our church will have the opportunity to serve the youth of our area. We have been assigned Mondays and the meals begin at noon. The meals are being served June 15th until August 21. We will need four people to help serve those meals on Mondays. If you are interested, please use the signup sheet in the narthex.

Waypoint/Madge Phillips Collection Box

The Waypoint/Madge Phillips Collection Box is back!!! The collection box was put back out June 1 so we can start collecting personal items for the women and children at Waypoint/Madge Phillips. You can contribute hotel soaps, shampoos and conditioners, so when you go on vacation and you will not be using these items yourself, please save them for our box. If you able and would like to, you can also buy items to donate. Please watch for the list of their needs. No clothing or furniture can be collected at this time. If you have any questions please Shari Singelstad or any Outreach Committee member.

July Mission of Hope Meal

The congregation is scheduled to prepare and serve a meal at Mission of Hope on Thursday, July 16th. The main meal will be sloppy joe’s. A signup sheet will be posted in June to ask members if they would be willing to prepare and/or serve the meal at Mission of Hope. I will also be asking if anyone would be willing to prepare the sloppy joe’s.

School Supplies

At the end of July and the first part of August, we will be collecting school supplies for a couple of agencies that will hand out supplies to those in need. Watch for the totes to be put out marked - "School Supplies Donations," along with more information in the July newsletter.
