Mission: To provide medical and dental care to the uninsured and under-served of east central Iowa through model community partnerships.

To potential benefactors of Community Health Free Clinic,

You might not know that the number of uninsured Americans is 46.7 million and rising. It appears possible that Federal funding for health care will be reduced in 2008-2009, even for Medicade programs that insure children.

During 2005-2006, the third year of CHFC's operation, medical services rose 29 percent from 24,658 services in 2005 to 34,931 in 2006 for the 20,038 patients needing free care.

Thanks to your help, nearly 600 Clinic volunteers have been able to meet the challenge of providing free care for all who chose to come.
