Special Offerings
Linn Community Food Bank
At Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church we emphasize the Linn Community Food Bank on the second
weekend of the month please bring non-perishables and put them in the grocery cart. The
Food Bank basket will be passed during the offering time for cash gifts to the Food
Bank you may make checks out to HRLC or directly to the Linn Community Food Bank.
Specific Needs: Creamy peanut butter, Spam, tuna, canned meats, 1-lb boxes of sugar, canned fruit,
canned grean beans, canned peas, pork'n'beans, soup, instant mashed potatoes (small containers),
3-oz Jell-O and instant pudding, pancake mix, corn muffin mix, macaroni & cheese, boxed cold
cereal, toilet paper, and bar soap.
Fourth Weekend Offerings
The fourth weekend of each month, Holy Redeemer earmarks all loose offerings and designated
cash or checks to be given to a charity or affiliated organization selected by the council.
Included below is this month's designated organization.
If you are interested in donating to a worthy cause, many organizations that Holy Redeemer
has contributed to have ongoing needs. The following is a list of some of the
